Camera with 14mm lens, and an LED light placed inside washing machine. 12 sec self-timer. Some cloning to get rid of part of light that made it into the shot.
Two spoons, resting on two black olives, on a mirror. Backlight is a radial gradient created in Photoshop set to Desktop Background on my computer monitor. Red and green colours added in post with colour layers set to Multiply blend mode.
Two images composited together. One exposed for guitar body, one exposed for music reflection.
Three glasses on black perspex, filled with water, backlit by stripey image on computer monitor. Two shots, one to get the refractions in the glass, and another (further away from monitor) to get the refractions in the water, composited in Photoshop.
Lensball placed on black perspex (held in place with blue-tack). Camera in manual, 30 sec exposure. LED strip with red and blue gels taped across some LEDs waved behind.
Macro shot of washing up liquid shaken in an interesting bottle. Image was split in half and flipped, and some areas were masked in to hide excess reflections from flash
Inspired by a Gavin Hoey tutorial. A composite of 3 shots. One of empty bowl, one with a splash. One with fish floating in water. Lit with a single speed-light behind a diffuser, placed behind the bowl
I used the spring from a ball-point pen, held in a crocodile clip clamp, backlit by one of my flower images on my computer monitor, with drops formed from a 50/50 water/glycerine mix, applied with a needle and syringe.
