These Tulips were positioned near a window with sunlight coming through from the left hand side. It was positioned a good distance away from a white wall so as not to cast a shadow. I hand held my camera and sharpened the flowers in Affinity Photo (a great piece of low-cost image editing software).

This is a fallen Orchid flower near its end of life. I placed it on a black card and used a LED light directly above it. I used a Tamron macro lens and hand held the camera.

One of my favourite subjects are flowers. This was taken in my front garden. There was bright sunshine but this was in a shady spot of the garden. Again, hand-held.
